All the way back to High School Matthew has had an affinity for Real Estate. After reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad in College, he knew he wanted to invest in Real Estate. Now Matthew runs the largest Networking / Meetup Real Estate Group in Northern Indiana, is a member of the local REIA and Rebuilding Together SJC boards, works with Investors every day, and enjoys watching Notre Dame football games!

When Matt is off doing Real Estate, Autumn is at home teaching the children, running errands (for Matt), and generally tieing up any loose ends, whether that be for Real Estate or her other full-time job. When our family is on the job site, you can find Autumn preparing meals, dealing with drama (from the children), and cleaning up all the messes they leave behind…

Back in 2010 when Matthew was forming his first business, a Buy / Sell / Trade Cell Phone business, he decided he needed a logo, something that would fit well with who he was as a person, and as a professional. After many interviews, Matthew hired Squawkers to be the new official spokesperson (online and on business cards) and logo for his new Cell Phone company, SquawkTalk Wireless. He was perfect for the position, with a cell phone in his hand and being a parrot, he was an instant hit.

Matthew and his children have always had an affinity for Squawkers, and when he decided to start his brand new Real Estate Company, he again wanted to find something that fit who he was and what he represented. It was hard at first, to think about what to name the new company and how to have that name reflect on Real Estate as well. There was also another problem, Matthew really wanted to be able to hire Squawkers again, but needed a professional name and image for the company. SquawkTalk Real Estate not only didn’t make sense, but it also didn’t sound professional, what was he going to do?

That’s when RedBird was born. Squawkers was back! With a new name that was still relevant to the Parrott family, a professional-sounding name – that accurately reflected the mission and direction of the new company, and an opening for an Official Spokesperson and Logo of the RedBird Real Estate Company, Squawkers could continue to be a part of the business and family.

At one point in time, Squawkers represented the cell phone business and the Parrott family’s name, but now he was so much more! The phone that Squawkers now holds reflects the sales calls we receive and the customer service we provide. As a Parrot Squawkers is a Red Bird, reflecting the company brand, and the company name. In some ways, Squawkers posture resembles that of a Real Estate Agent, and while RedBird Realty Solutions is not a Real Estate Agent Company, we provide many of the same services that you may find – but without any of the Fee’s or Commissions, those agents provide. Finally, the smile and friendliness of Squawkers shine through his self-portrait, representing the attitude that we hope to provide in every transaction we do.
